Issue 12 - April 2006

This local derby saw Bristol versus Somerset at Hustlers in Weston Super Mare.

Bristol Mens A Team

Sadly Bristol A’s were pipped at the post by a 23:21 win for Somerset. The two team stars were Jon Millard and Mark Wood who both achieved a perfect 4 wins out of 4 games record. Mark Wood is now the top male county player in Bristol with a total of 9 wins from 12 frames.

Bristol Mens B Team

Bristol B had to settle for a draw on this occasion which could seal their fate for the 2006 season and deny them a place at the National Championships. The B team achieved only one perfect result and that was from the Captain, Kevin Smith.

Ladies

It was always going to be a tough day for Bristol ladies who were facing one of the top ladies teams in the Region. Bristol ladies sadly only managed a 27:17 defeat. Congratulations to Farah Fleck and Jennie Bennett who achieved perfect 4 out of 4 records for the day.
