Bristol come unstuck
in Devon The second game of the County Pool season saw the Bristol teams travel to Plymouth to take on Devon at Cues Pool Club. The Men's A fixture proved to be a tight affair. At the halfway point, the teams were locked at 11-11, but devon held out for a 23-21 Victory. A notable performance came from Partab Singh who won all four of his frames. Ben Flack remains top of the A team rankings with seven wins from eight frames. The Men's B side had a difficult day with many of the Devon B players at the peak of their game. Bristol B just could not stay with them and lost 28-16. The good news came from Cornwall who lost 23-21 to Wiltshire, keeping the standings tight at this stage. Bristol ladies again had a bad final leg, which they lost 8-3, as they fell to a 27-17 defeat to Devon. The top performer so far this season is Kate McDonnell (left) who has won six of her eight frames. Bristol next game is home to Cornwall on April
